Written assignments
Written assignments can vary in length but can easily be tailored to test different cognitive levels in Bloom’s taxonomy. Assessment can be as simple as a discussion board post or as intensive as a group term project with multiple levels of submission and feedback. Writing assignments require more grading time than multiple choice assessments, but D2L has useful rubric options that helps streamline the grading and feedback process.
