Medical Neuroscience Masters Degree

Proposed Program - Expected Start Fall 2026

The Medical Neuroscience Master of Science is a fully online, 30-credit program that provides rigorous graduate training in human neuroscience. The curriculum emphasizes both cellular/molecular and systems-level understanding of the nervous system in health and disease, with training in current research topics, neuroethics, and social determinants of health.

This flexible program serves post-baccalaureate students strengthening applications to professional or doctoral programs, healthcare professionals seeking advancement, and career changers entering neuroscience-related fields. Coursework covers foundational neuroscience, nervous system disorders, development, pharmacology, and research ethics, culminating in an integrative capstone project.

Graduates will be prepared for roles in clinical research, healthcare, biomedical industries, science education, and further graduate study.

By obtaining the Medical Neuroscience graduate certificate, students will be able to do the following:
